Travel Medicine
A doctor is able to provide you medical advice and information regarding travel health and any travel vaccinations required for your intended destination.

It is important to see your doctor 4-6 weeks prior to departure as the immunisations may take several weeks to be effective and some require multiple doses.
Online booking available, please select "Travel Consultation".

It is important to be aware of the latest government recommendations for travel to any part of the world. Travel medicine has a focus on health promotion and may include travel vaccinations, up to date travel information, malaria prevention, education and awareness of the local culture or region to help prevent accidents and injuries.
Once you have discussed your destination with a GP, the travel vaccines are available for purchase onsite and can then be administered by our nurse, offering you convenience and one stop service.
We stock vaccines for:
-
Hepatitis A
-
Hepatitis B
-
Typhoid
-
Yellow Fever
-
Boostrix/Adacel (DPT)
-
Influenza
-
Tetanus (ADT)
-

If other vaccines are required the GP will provide a prescription for you to purchase from a nearby chemist for our nurse to administer.
